Five Small Listing Improvements That Generate Better Enquiries
The fastest way to improve a property listing is usually not a full redesign. Better lead photos, a realistic headline price, and a clearer opening paragraph can change how seriously buyers treat the advert.
Start with the basics: bright photography, room descriptions that mention function as well as size, and a summary of the features people actually search for, such as parking, garden space, schools, or transport links.
The lead image deserves particular attention. It should show the thing that makes the property easiest to remember, not simply the first photograph uploaded. For some homes that is the kitchen or garden; for others it is the exterior, the view, or a calm living space.
The opening paragraph should do useful work. Say what the property is, who it is likely to suit, what condition it is in, and whether there is anything practical to know before booking a viewing. That does more than a long list of adjectives.
